Welcome to FXRoy.com (the “Site”), operated by FXRoy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FXRoy online image converter and all related services, tools, and features (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

FXRoy is a free, browser-based multi-format image converter that allows users to convert images between dozens of popular and professional formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, HEIC, TIFF, SVG, PDF, and many others). Most conversions are processed client-side directly in your browser. Some advanced or large-file conversions may be temporarily processed on our secure servers and automatically deleted after 1 hour.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. No Account Required

You may use the Service without creating an account or providing personal information. We do not collect or store user accounts.

4. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Upload or convert any files that infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical protection measures in the Service.
  • Use the Service to create or distribute illegal content.
  • Overload or disrupt the Service or its servers through automated means (except for normal browser use).
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices or watermarks (none are added by us).

We reserve the right to refuse service, block IP addresses, or remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, its design, logos, and all underlying software are owned by FXRoy or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
  • You retain full ownership of the images you upload and convert. We claim no ownership over your files.
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and temporarily store your images solely as necessary to provide the conversion service.

6. Privacy and Data Handling

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference). In summary:

  • Most conversions happen entirely in your browser; we never receive your files.
  • Server-processed files are automatically and permanently deleted after 1 hour.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your images with third parties.

7. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • Conversion results will be 100% accurate or meet your specific quality requirements.
  • The Service will be compatible with every device or browser.

We are not responsible for any loss or corruption of your files during upload, conversion, or download.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FXROY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed USD $10.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FXRoy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights through files you upload or convert.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by posting the revised Terms on this page with a new “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Service after the new Effective Date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Singapore.

13. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FXRoy regarding the Service.
  • We do not waive any rights by failing to enforce any part of these Terms.
